Looking for an alternative to Tradervue?
Tradervue is one of the longest-running trading journals, known for its reports and its free plan. Strebell takes a different route: it follows your whole trading day and captures how you feel while you trade. Here's an honest comparison.
The short answer
Choose Strebell if
- You want structure for your whole trading day, from plan to weekly review
- You want to capture how you feel during the trade, not afterwards
- You want to try it for free before you pay
- You prefer to journal in Dutch, Spanish or German
Choose Tradervue if
- You want a free plan for a small number of trades
- You want trades synced and imported from your broker
- You mainly want detailed reports on past trades

What Strebell does differently
Your whole trading day, not just your trades
Strebell starts before the open with a day journal and trade plans, and ends with a weekly review and a plan for the new week, including news, earnings and your own appointments.
Your feeling, captured in the moment
You log a trade while you take it, so how you felt is real, not reconstructed afterwards. That's why Strebell deliberately doesn't import trades.
Discipline you can measure
After every trade you review whether you followed your plan, separately from the result, and your own trading rules trigger alerts.
Private by default, in four languages
Your data is stored in the EU and nobody looks inside your journal without your permission. Strebell is available in English, Dutch, Spanish and German.
Where Tradervue is the better choice
Tradervue has a free plan for up to 30 trades per month, so if you trade rarely you can journal without paying. Its paid plans sync with brokers, import unlimited trades and offer extensive reporting, such as MFE and MAE statistics.
Switching from Tradervue
Strebell doesn't import your Tradervue history. That's deliberate: analyses are only meaningful when every field, including how you felt, was filled in at the moment itself.
Our advice: keep your Tradervue account or export for reference and start fresh in Strebell. Use the 9 free days to log every trade in the moment and run your first weekly review.
