Why I built Strebell

I started building Strebell a year and a half ago, because I couldn't find a system that had everything in one place: from planning my trades to logging them and preparing a new week.

I wanted checklists per strategy and a playbook every trade has to meet before I'm allowed to take it. I wanted to plan every week ahead: look up earnings, keep an eye on economic meetings and shape my trading day around them. Know when to trade and when not to.

Spreadsheets couldn't connect the dots. Notion took ages to set up and still didn't quite work. Other trading journals focused on what happens after the trade, almost never on planning it. So I built it myself.

What my own journal taught me

I found out I have several strategies that work, but only at certain times of the day, around certain events or on certain tickers and markets.

What does Strebell mean?

Strebell comes from the Dutch word ‘streven’: to strive. You strive for perfection in your trading career: in your trades, your mindset and your discipline. You'll never be perfect, but you can be one step better every day.

Your journal stays yours

Your trades, plans and feelings are personal. Your data is stored in the EU, analyses run inside your own account without external AI, and support only looks in when you allow it.
